About the Academy

Rick Murphy's Carolina Golf Academy is one of The Premier Golf Practice and Learning Facilities in the Southeastern United States.



Taking a holistic approach to learning, Carolina Golf Academy incorporates improvement of golf skills, mental skills as well as improving the physical fitness condition of our students as it specifically relates to the students swing and playing ability. We also evaluate your current equipment to determine if it is correct for you and your swing. With this as our mission we can take our students to the level of play that they envision and desire. Our feeling is that our students improve more rapidly and attain their goals more quickly when we take this holistic approach. With the initial evaluation of skills, mind, fitness condition and equipment we can guarantee success.

Carolina Golf Academy has programs that provide learning opportunities for golfers regardless of age, gender or skill level; from beginners to frequent players to middle school and high school as well as college players, PGA Professionals and PGA Tour players. Our PGA Professionals constantly attend seminars, conduct seminars and take advantage of learning opportunities in order to provide the highest level of instruction and coaching. Our PGA Member instructors have a passion for teaching.

Our facility is a 30 acre facility that includes the following amenities:

• Three tiered all bermuda grass practice tees
• Shortgame practice area...chipping, pitching and bunker
• 5000 Sq. ft. bentgrass putting green
• Two practice holes...par 3 & par 4
• Two indoor studios
• Outdoor studio (April - October)
• Full service club repair shop
• Full service golf shop
• Custom fitting center for major manufactures
